Cementing Commitment to Quality and Security

Acclario IT has achieved a significant milestone by securing ISO 27001 certification, reinforcing its position as a trusted partner for organisations seeking innovative, secure, and quality-assured technology services.

Founded in 2016, Acclario IT uses Microsoft technologies to deliver configured solutions in various sectors, including government, healthcare, education, manufacturing, and agriculture.

The certification journey involved a thorough evaluation of Acclario’s tools, processes, and controls to ensure alignment with international standards. 3 Lights, a consultancy specialising in GRC with a lens in cyber security, played a pivotal role in guiding Acclario through the certification process.

Benjii Creevey, Founder and Managing Director of 3 Lights, emphasised the importance of such certifications, “In today’s market, where data breaches and cyber threats are almost a weekly news occurrence, attaining ISO 27001 certification demonstrates Acclario’s proactive commitment to protecting sensitive information and managing risk.”

For clients like Queensland Health, Queensland University of Technology, and the Queensland Government, Acclario’s certified expertise now offers enhanced data protection, consistent service delivery, and improved risk management. Daniel Dobbins, General Manager – Sales, of Acclario IT, remarked, “This achievement not only solidifies Acclario’s reputation for operational excellence but also provides additional confidence to clients in its ability to manage complex IT projects securely and effectively.”

Creevey further noted, “For businesses of all sizes and industries, achieving ISO 27001 certification is no longer just a best practice — it’s a necessary step for long-term success and sustainability.”

Peter Birbeck, CEO of Acclario IT, highlighted the operational benefits, stating, “The process of going through and obtaining ISO 27001 has led us to improved operational efficiency and improved security. We’ve identified and can now mitigate a whole raft of risks out there in the market. It comes back to the protection of customer and employee personal private data.”
